2012世界杯烘豆大賽-台灣邀請賽 The Best Espresso 暨The Best Choice Espresso國際評審介紹:
The Best Espresso 評審主審,他同時也是WCE國際評審暨評審委員會主席Michael Yung/ Head Judge(主審)Michael Yung,咖啡資歷:Mike Yung first started working in the coffee industry in 2006 as a barista at Caffè Artigiano, one of Vancouver's premiere retail coffee shops. In 2007, Michael competed in his first barista competition, and won the title of 2007 Canadian National Barista Champion. At the 2008 World Barista Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, Michael finished in fifth place among national champions from fifty-one countries.
Michael has continued to remain involved at the World Barista Championship and at World Coffee Events, the premier coffee event producing company owned by the SCAA and SCAE. He has judged at regional and national competitions in Canada, the United States, Guatemala, Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Colombia, serving as sensory, technical, and head judges. Michael has been certified as a WBC Technical (2009, 2010), Sensory (2011), and Head (2012-) Judge and is the current Chair of the WCE Judges Operations Committee.
In 2009, Michael started his own coffee consultancy company, "baristahands," through which he provided barista training, competition training, and coffee education seminars for clients in Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Singapore and Hong Kong. In 2010, he moved from Canada to Hong Kong to take up the position of "Coffee Ambassador" at Graffeo Coffee Roasting Company.
